1. Business Model Transparency
BD Nationwide Mortgage operates as an online mortgage information and referral platform. BD Nationwide is not a mortgage lender, mortgage broker, credit reporting agency, or debt relief company. We do not originate, underwrite, service, or make credit decisions on any mortgage loan. Our Site connects consumers with licensed mortgage professionals in our participating network who may be able to assist with residential home financing needs.
BD Nationwide provides home financing information at no cost to you. BD Nationwide receives compensation from participating lenders and mortgage professionals when consumers complete loan transactions or reach certain milestones with lenders introduced through our platform. This compensation does not influence the educational content published on our Site.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide to Us
When you request a mortgage quote, complete a loan inquiry form, subscribe to our communications, or otherwise interact with our Site, we may collect the following categories of personal information:
- Contact Information: Name, mailing address, email address, phone number(s)
- Property Information: Property address, property type, estimated property value, ZIP code, city, state
- Financial Information: Estimated income, mortgage balance, credit tier (self-reported), employment status, existing debts
- Loan Request Details: Loan purpose, requested loan amount, loan type (purchase, refinance, home equity)
- Communications: Messages, comments, feedback, and other communications you send to us
We do NOT require your Social Security number, driver’s license number, or bank account information to receive an initial loan quote through our Site.

These mortgage professionals are independent third parties who will contact you directly regarding your inquiry. Once shared, your information becomes subject to each recipient’s own privacy policy.

We may share your information with third-party service providers who assist us in operating our Site and business, including:

This consent applies even if your telephone number is currently listed on any federal, state, or corporate Do Not Call list. You understand that consent to receive these communications is not required as a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. You may opt out of text message communications at any time by replying “STOP” to any text message. For assistance, reply “HELP” or contact us as described in Section 15.
7. California Consumer Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), provides you with specific rights regarding your personal information.

7.4 Exercising Your California Rights
To exercise your California rights, submit a verifiable consumer request through the contact methods above. We will verify your identity before fulfilling requests to protect your information. You may designate an authorized agent to make requests on your behalf.
We will respond to verifiable consumer requests within 45 days of receipt. If we require additional time, we will notify you of the reason and extension period.
7.5 GLBA Exemption Notice
Some personal information you provide in connection with mortgage loan inquiries may be exempt from certain CCPA/CPRA requirements because it is regulated under the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) and California Financial Information Privacy Act (FIPA). These federal and state financial privacy laws apply to nonpublic personal information collected in connection with financial products or services.
8. Other State Privacy Rights (Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah)
Residents of Virginia (VCDPA), Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), Utah (UCPA), and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have similar rights to access, correct, delete, and opt out of the sale of their personal information. Participating lenders in our network are also subject to GLBA requirements and provide their own privacy notices.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, please note that BD Nationwide’s services are directed to U.S. residents and our Site is hosted in the United States. By using our Site, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country of residence.

California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, contact us using the methods in Section 15.
17. Do Not Track Signals
Some browsers include “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals. Because no common industry standard for DNT signals has been adopted, BD Nationwide does not currently respond to DNT browser signals.
18. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration
Any dispute regarding this Privacy Policy or your use of the Site shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) in San Diego, California, under the AAA’s Consumer Arbitration Rules. To initiate a claim, you must first provide written notice of the claim to BD Nationwide within thirty (30) days of learning of the potential claim. Following such notice, the claim must be submitted to the American Arbitration Association within thirty (30) days. By using the Site, you agree that this dispute resolution process is fair and reasonable, and you waive your right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action.

BD Nationwide may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or industry standards.
