Colorado again ranks among the top states for its foreclosure rate, according to RealtyTrac, an online marketplace for foreclosure properties.

The Irvine, Calif., company released July figures Thursday and said July was the fourth consecutive month Colorado ranked among the five highest foreclosure rates in the country. Arkansas was No. 1 for its foreclosure rate. Colorado was No. 5.

The number of properties in foreclosure nationwide rose 4.7 percent from June. RealtyTrac said the nation's foreclosure rate stood at one foreclosure for every 1,465 households.

Colorado had 2,462 properties in foreclosure during July, or one foreclosure for every 743 households.
